In our fifth and final installment of the most anticipated property openings around the world, here is a curated list of new openings in the USA and Canada for 2024.

Bowie House – Scheduled to open January 2024

An imaginative and bold urban retreat from Auberge Resorts, Bowie House will be one of the first true luxury hotels to open in Fort Worth, TX. In the city’s thriving Cultural District, the hotel’s 106 guest rooms consist of chic open floor lofts and spacious suites that embody Fort Worth’s charm and sophistication with traditional Western finishes. The art-filled hotel will feature multiple dining venues including Bricks and Horses, The Bar at Bowie House and poolside Whinny’s. At the 3,800 sq. ft. Ash Spa, a suspended pool deck and lush gardens, provide nature-ensconced sanctuary in the city’s heart.

Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center – Scheduled to open February 2024

Loews Hotels is opening their newest and largest hotel yet in the heart of Arlington’s entertainment district. The first of its kind meetings and resort destination will be home to 888 rooms and suites across its 21 floors. Loews Arlington Hotel is situated between iconic sports stadiums, AT&T and Globe Life Field, and will be accessible to the 300-room Live! by Loews via a Sky Bridge and will have five new restaurants and lounges. They include Farena, a three-meal indoor/outdoor Italian restaurant featuring two Texas-sized wood-fire pizza ovens and homemade pasta, made on-site by our Italian trained Executive Chef Mouhssine Benhamacht. Soy Cowboy, an Asian fusion restaurant concept by Berg Hospitality will debut mid-year. Additionally, the hotel will feature a full-service Spa and Salon, resort-style beach club with two pools, cabanas, fire pits, and a water slide and the largest ballroom in North Texas at 51,000 sq. ft.

Nobu Hotel Atlantic City – Scheduled to open February 2024

Occupying the newly reimagined Caesars Atlantic City, on the top three floors of the Centurion Tower, Nobu Hotel Atlantic City features 85 rooms and suites with dramatic ocean views. Set to revitalize the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk, the hotel is designed by the Rockwell Group embracing warm and earthy tones along with Japanese minimalism to present chic luxury. The hotel will also house the already opened Nobu Atlantic City restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows and low furnishing, complemented by iconic Nobu dishes such as Black Cod with Miso and Yellowtail Jalapeño.

Hotel Bardo – Scheduled to open February 2024

Savannah’s Historic Mansion on Forsyth Park is being transformed into Hotel Bardo Savannah, a timeless two-acre urban resort. With 149 guest rooms, 20 being suites, the hotel will serve as a gathering place and home for Savannah locals and visitors alike. Named after the Tibetan term meaning “transition,” Hotel Bardo will encourage guests to meander through each of its highly activated and enthralling spaces along with its 25-meter pool and pool bar, Bar Bibi, a holistic gym and wellness spa – Saltgrass and marquee coastal Italian restaurant and cooking school, Saint Bibiana. Additional food and beverage offerings including The Courtyard and The Green Room lobby bar.

Hotel Anna & Bel – Scheduled to open Spring 2024

The 50-key serene urban escape is nestled on the crossroads of Susquehanna and Belgrade in Philadelphia’s artistic enclave of Fishtown. The hotel combines classic and contemporary elements with vintage elegance and nods to the building’s historic femininity, it once served as a former women’s asylum and later, the historic Penn Home, one of the city’s earliest retirement homes. An interior courtyard and heated pool serve as the heart of the property with buzzing, evolving energy throughout the day while each of Anna & Bel’s guest rooms – ranging from studios to two-bedrooms – will have varied layouts, with some featuring terraces overlooking the courtyard oasis. It also will be home to a lounge, bar, treatment room, and sauna as well as a stand-alone Mediterranean-inspired chef restaurant.

Ada Hotel – Scheduled to open Spring 2024

Named after the 19thcentury hotel that served as the township’s cultural centerpiece, the new three-story boutique hotel in Ada, Michigan will feature 36-guest rooms, a fitness center, and two distinct on-site restaurants. The Post Tavern will be the first floor’s cozy and rustic, family-friendly pub, while Rix,will offer scenic views of the Thornapple River from the third floor. Ada Hotel’s inception is a part of the township’s significant redevelopment efforts in the hospitality sector.

The Printing House – Scheduled to open Spring 2024

In the vibrancy of downtown Nashville, The Printing House sits just five blocks from historic Broadway, on Third Avenue and Peabody Street. Just a short walk from honky tonk bars, restaurants and shops, as well as Printer’s Alley, the hotel will feature 187 rooms across 11 floors, plus a garden terrace bar featuring live music, games and craft cocktails. Paying homage to the city’s printing history and architecture, the hotel is great for anyone who appreciates the spirit of a city and its legacy.

Drift Nashville – Scheduled to open in early 2024

The hotel will be the brand’s fourth property and is home to 87 spacious multi-room suites, a ground level pool with neighboring cabanas, three food and beverage concepts and a breathtaking penthouse. A former inn originally built in 1966 has been transformed with the use of local artisans to present a hotel with high-design and a strong food and beverage program. The mainstay bar/restaurant, The Sun Room, features refreshing organic soda-based cocktails and small plates like oysters and patatas bravas in a bright and airy space while guests will surely congregate at Dawn, their cafe/coffee shop, for conversation, bites and caffeination by Good Citizen Coffee Co.

Thompson Palm Springs – Scheduled to open in early 2024

Set to present an elevated luxury in Palm Springs, the hotel is in the heart of the Design District in California’s desert. Offering a collection of 168 bungalow-inspired guest rooms and suites with private balconies to capture breathtaking views of the ethereal Palm Springs desert, the hotel boasts an iconic mid century modern design. The destination will also introduce a Levantine Mediterranean dining concept, a full-service spa, two rooftop pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an on-site HALL Napa Valley Tasting Room and over 35,000 square feet of dynamic retail and restaurant space.

The Rusty Parrot Lodge & Spa – Scheduled to open late Spring 2024

Nestled between the Teton and Gros Ventre mountain ranges, in the heart of vibrant Jackson Hole, is opening its doors once again after a tragic fire made it shutter its doors in 2019. The family-owned lodge gives the feel of one big home and is just a short walk away from the bustling town square yet tucked just far enough away to enjoy the quiet bliss of the mountains. Home to 40 rooms and suites, the new boutique lodge is a luxury oasis full with fireplaces, oversized leather chairs and winding staircases which animate the interior.  Enjoy a meal at the acclaimed Wild Sage Restaurant or unwind at the spa or share a fireside drink with new friends.

Populus – Scheduled to open Summer 2024

Populus will be the first carbon positive hotel in the US, featuring an iconic Aspen tree-inspired design by Studio Gang. Managed by Aparium and developed by Urban Villages, the 13-story hotel is situated in downtown Denver and will serve as a lively social hub. It will feature 265 modern guest rooms, a ground floor restaurant, flexible meeting spaces, coffee bar and signature rooftop bar and restaurant offering unobstructed city, mountain and park views.

The Dunlin, Auberge Resorts Collection – Scheduled to open Summer 2024

Across 2,000 sprawling acres, The Dunlin, Auberge Resorts Collection will be home to a 100-acre working farm and 20 miles of riverfront. The whimsical yet classic design creates the feeling of sea island homes of another era which can be seen throughout the property along with its 72 cottage-style guest rooms and suites and 19 residential villas. The grounds will also include a main lodge with a spacious wraparound porch, great rooms designed for unwinding, a library lounge, a pool with cabanas, a full-service spa, a community farmstead providing dining destinations with local bounty, nature excursions, access to the community’s Spring House and a riverfront swim and fitness facility.

Nobu Hotel, Restaurant and Residences Toronto – Scheduled to open Summer 2024

Nobu will make its Canadian debut in 2024 in the heart of Toronto’s vibrant Entertainment District. Rising 45 stories with two dramatic residential towers situated above the historic Pilkington Glass Factory, the hotel is located atop the west tower and offers dazzling, panoramic views of Lake Ontario and the city skyline. The 36-suite property features a private hotel lounge, wellness facility with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and a two-level Nobu restaurant with separate bar & lounge, two private dining rooms, sushi bar and outdoor terrace. It will be the world’s first integrated Nobu Residences (there are 660 which have all been sold out), Nobu Hotel and Nobu Restaurant in the world.

Hotel Westland – Scheduled to open Fall 2024

Set to be the second carbon positive hotel in the country, Hotel Westland is located within RailSpur, a carbon positive micro-district in Seattle. Developed by Urban Villages and managed by Aparium, the boutique lifestyle hotel will highlight historic character maintained from the building’s 1907 construction and offer 120 rooms in Seattle’s historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. Along with offering a signature restaurant, it will feature a penthouse Hospitality Suite, two flexible residential-like meeting spaces and Pioneer Square’s first rooftop bar.

Thompson Houston – Scheduled to open Winter 2024

Located in the verdant Buffalo Bayou Park, Thompson Houston is set to be Houston’s newest and most stylish hotel. The 36-story building boasts a contemporary seventh-floor lobby, a spa and wellness floor devoted to full body restoration and 172 guest rooms, including 34 suites. Unique to the property is the one-acre rooftop featuring a greenspace, custom pool and expansive pool deck featuring a new cocktail bar and lounge, two restaurants and a private heliport. It will also offer more than 17,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor and outdoor event space to accommodate groups up to 800.

Treehouse Sunnyvale – Scheduled to open Q4 2024

Set to be the brand’s first US property, the hotel repurposes several existing structures and elevates a new six-story building constructed off site using modular methods. Designed to bring back the childlike wonder of taking refuge in a figurative “treehouse,” looking down at the real world below, the hotel features hand-crafted accents, secret nooks, playful angles, hammocks and hideaways and surprisingly placed lookouts. The majority of its 254 rooms, including 21 suites, provide private outdoor spaces, from ground floor patios to balconies and terraces on the upper floors.. Amenities from a casual café with indoor and outdoor seating, a garden offering games and a buzzy beer garden to a courtyard pool complete with cabanas, hot tub, pizza oven and state-of-the-art fitness facility are also available for guest’s use.

One&Only Moonlight Basin – Scheduled to open Winter 2024/2025

Just a short one hour ride from Yellowstone National Park, One&Only Moonlight Basin is the brand’s first outpost in the U.S. as well as its first alpine location. Located between the iconic Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks in Montana, the resort will include 73 guest rooms and suites in the main lodge, 19 secluded villas throughout the resort, a separate ski lodge and 62 One&Only Private Homes will be available for purchase. In an exclusive global partnership with the leading health and wellness brand based in Switzerland, Chenot, the resort will be home to a transformative Chenot Spa as well as a cutting-edge fitness center with both indoor and outdoor spaces. It will offer an array of indoor and outdoor dining experiences and will be connected by gondola to Big Sky’s world-class skiing with over 5,800 skiable acres.
