The Concierge Guide to Space Center Houston

Space Center Houston is a 250,000-square-foot facility with over 400 things to see and do. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to enjoy a visit to “Space City,” but a good guide wouldn’t hurt. Our Concierge Guide to Space Center Houston will introduce you to all the exhibits and experiences included with general admission and the exciting upgrades that will launch your visit to new heights.

Tiqets, the leading online ticketing platform, announced Space Center Houston as a regional winner for the seventh-annual Remarkable Venue Awards on September 18, 2023. The United States and the Soviet Union competed in “The Space Race” to achieve superior spaceflight capability. Spaceflight symbolized the ideology of the time and the pinnacle of human achievement. It brought pioneering launches of artificial satellites, robotic space probes to the Moon, Venus, and Mars, and human spaceflight in low Earth orbit and ultimately to the Moon.

Starship Gallery at Space Center Houston has authentic spacecraft and national treasures that trace the progression of human space exploration.

It’s one thing to put a rocket into space; it’s something else to put people in orbit. Even more spectacular is when astronauts leave their “tin can” and walk amongst the stars. Space Center Houston has a comprehensive collection of spacesuits, including the ejection suit that astronaut John Young wore on the first shuttle flight.
